you only the best in 2018!

January Activities

Hello Sweet Friends,
I hope you are keeping warm!
It's been brutally cold here in Canada so I'm trying to embrace this Winter by bringing it into the classroom and learning all about it!

Here are some of my plans for January!

Save Christmas

Hi Friends,
I am soooooo excited to share this new unit with all of you.
I collaborated with my best friend Valerie from All Students Can Shine for this magical and fun pack and we had the best time making this for our students and all of you!

November Activities

Hi Friends,
I've been spending most of my weekend writing report cards.

I thought I'd take a break from all that and stop by to let you know what we will be doing this month.

Veterans Day and Remembrance Day

Hi Friends,
Today, in Second Grade we learned all about soldiers.
I think it is very important for students to know about the brave people who work hard to make sure that we are safe and free.

The Haunted House that Jack Built

Hello Everyone,
Today in Second Grade, we practiced some fluency!
It was great fun!

Haunted Houses - A Setting Activity

Happy Sunday to you ALL!
This WEEK in Second Grade we will be working on Setting in Narrative Writing.
So far, we have covered hook sentences and character description and my students are slowly becoming great creative writers!
